Momoka Yamabuki (山吹 桃香, Yamabuki Momoka) is a side character who holds important connection of the time travel mystery. She was the assistant of Natsumi Kurutsu.
Plot[]
Island first[]
Momoka met Karen Kurutsu and Setsuna Sanzenkai during their travel to find Natsumi Kurutsu. Momoka was excited and went so far as to hug Karen as she was similar to her mother, stating her absolute love for Karin's mother. She is also quickly shown to dislike men, especially romantically, even though she seems to be fine discussing with Setsuna casually. After Momoka learned that they wanted to find Natsumi, she was later seen accompanying them and giving them information on how she was on the mainland, informing them of Natsumi's death.
After Rinne's death, Kuon and her met to take Setsuna where the cold sleep machine is kept. She is very enthusiastic about it and often propose to take Setsuna's place in it, and she wants to become a time traveler. They took the machine away, but the premature destruction of the platform made the machine almost drown and lost, so Setsuna went in the machine earlier than expected to not lose the machine before using hit, and went in cold sleep under the sea.
Island second[]
Momoka was seen at the same moment when Karen Kurutsu, but this time with her three friends instead when she searched for her mother with the same role.
She later informed Setsuna Sanzenkai the truth of the time machine he had used that it was never a time machine but the very same and remodeled time freezing capsule when he noticed that Kuon Ohara is Rinné from the future. She told Setsuna that Rinné and Setsuna they never went to the past but went to the same period in the future, because the world kind of reset and repeats itself after a certain point, while Rinné and Setsuna were inside the capsule, they didn't realize the reset and thought that they went to the past. At the end, she takes Setsuna to Boryujima with Rinne and put him in the cold sleep machine while Kuon works on her machine, and bids him farewell while he is sent to the Ice Age once again.

- The name Momoka means "peach" (桃) (momo) and "fragrance, fragrant" (香) (ka).
- Momoka's surname Yamabuki means "mountain, hill" (山) (yama) and "blow, breathe, puff, emit, smoke" (吹) (fuki/buki).
